The I4G (Investing For Good) Pitch event will provide 2 social service organisations with $50,000 grant funding and bespoke impact investment readiness capacity building support to develop a business idea and explore pathways to financial sustainability and social investment.
Applications to participate in the I4G Pitch open Thursday 7th September and close Friday 29th September 2017.
The I4G Pitch event will take place on Wednesday 8 November, showcasing 6 outstanding social service organisations, from across NSW, where there is scope to develop a sustainable business idea, attract social investment and scale impact.
Attracting high-profile guests, including government, philanthropists, investors and social service organisations this event will be an outstanding opportunity to network and learn more about social investment and the changing funding landscape.
The inaugural I4G Pitch aims to:
Co-create (with Government, service organisations and the private sector) the ecosystem required for social investment to reach its full potential
Raise awareness about impact investing broadly with the intention of developing the sector's capacity to understand and participate in social impact investing (SII) opportunities
Identify, develop and showcase outstanding organisations which are delivering high impact services to their communities
Monitor progress over time in order to better understand challenges to attracting investment and share learnings with the sector
